0 – 4, How Did We Get Here?

Inked KP

“Something has to change, surely*?” grimaced the experienced opening bowler*, exasperated as he departed the cavernous Victorian Cricket Ground*.

Frustration with the heat at 43+?

Annoyance at the lack of atmosphere supporting the home team from a smaller than anticipated crowd?

Confusion with the laid back approach of the coaching staff and assorted celebrities that clutter the bench and dressing room?

Disappointed with another less than acceptable output by the professional imports?

Disheartened as the opposition chased a modest total under the guidance of genuine homegrown players before a blitzing finish by the joyful debutant at the venue?

Irked by the self posting images of haircuts and horseplay in the hotel diluting the energy to deliver the skills that have created the invitation and contract?

Stymied by the allowance of the superstar* to depart during the tournament for family needs?

Disappointed in the public rant by the returning superstar* about missing clothes and airline compensation that would not allow enough for socks?

Resentful that despite all the hype and promise, the highly connected President appears absent for most of the season (until now)?

Nothing like a losing streak to expose the cracks within, should anybody really care.
